Our Story

From Pain to Purpose

After a life-changing road accident that resulted in limb loss, our founder learned firsthand how limited access to assistive devices and support can be. That experience sparked a commitment to build a community where every person with a disability can thrive with dignity.

Universal Lighthouse founder

Recovery after limb loss is marked by physical pain, emotional strain, and financial burdens that ripple across families. Stigma and myths deepen isolation, while limited access to mobility devices compromises the hope of regaining independence.

Why We Exist

Universal Lighthouse CBO was created to restore dignity, spark resilience, and walk with survivors beyond their loss. We advocate for inclusive policy, provide psychosocial support, and equip communities with the tools to champion disability rights.

Universal Lighthouse community

Through mobility support, caregiver training, and economic empowerment programs, we help survivors rebuild their lives with confidence. Our work is rooted in community partnerships and a belief that inclusion benefits everyone.

Every story we hear fuels our mission to ensure that disability never means isolation. Together, we are building a society where opportunity knows no boundaries.
